SYNOPSIS
Juana is a 15-year-old girl living in the Altiplano whose older sister, Marisol, is captured by a human trafficking network. Juana makes a pact with “Las Degolladas,” two cursed spirits that take the form of a pair of machetes. Empowered by the blades, Juana transforms into “Santa Sombra,” a vengeance-driven antiheroine determined to rescue her sister and eradicate the abusers who prey on the region.
