SINOPSIS
At the turn of the 20th century, Roger Casement, a British diplomat of Irish descent, witnesses brutal colonial atrocities in the Congo and Amazon. Disillusioned by imperialism, he abandons his loyalty to the Crown and joins the Irish independence movement. Arrested for treason, he is publicly tried and his personal sexual diaries are used to discredit him morally. Casement is executed, leaving a legacy clouded by questions over truth, betrayal, and justice.
